The kit includes a fan housing and wheels made of cast aluminum material, which is spark resistant and complies with AMCA Type B spark resistant construction standards. This corrosion-resistant material is suitable for outdoor environments and is lightweight, being one-third the weight of carbon steel fans, thus requiring less structural support when mounted. Cast aluminum's strength increases in cold conditions, in contrast to other materials that may become brittle. The standard discharge position is upblast, with options available for upblast, top horizontal, or downblast configurations upon request at the time of order placement. The fans are designed for operation up to a maximum temperature of 150 degrees Fahrenheit and are manufactured in the USA. They are applicable for vehicle fume exhaust removal in garages and fire stations, material conveying of dust and non-abrasive light particulates, cooling in UV light curing equipment, high-pressure air applications for air knife blow-off, combustion air sources for gas burners, and suction pressure for hold-down tables in the printing process on corrugated packaging materials. The use of cast aluminum is ideal for electronic applications, as it resists magnetism, thereby minimizing interference issues.
