The kit includes cast aluminum housings and wheels that are spark resistant and comply with AMCA Type B spark resistant construction standards. This construction material is corrosion resistant for outdoor environments and is significantly lighter than carbon steel, weighing only 1/3 as much, which reduces the need for extensive structural support during installation. Cast aluminum becomes stronger in cold conditions, avoiding brittleness associated with other materials, and is non-magnetic, making it suitable for electronic applications where interference must be minimized. The standard discharge position is upblast, but configurations for upblast, top horizontal, or downblast are available upon request at the time of order placement. All sizes are rated for operation up to a maximum temperature of 150 degrees F. Applications include vehicle fume exhaust removal in garages and fire stations, material conveying of dust and non-abrasive light particulates, cooling in UV light curing equipment, high-pressure air source for air knife blow-off applications, combustion air source for gas burners, and suction pressure for hold-down tables during the printing process on corrugated packaging materials. Installation must be performed by a licensed electrical contractor. The product is made in the USA.
