The kit includes housings and wheels made from cast aluminum, which is spark resistant and complies with AMCA Type B spark resistant construction standards. This lightweight material is 1/3 the weight of carbon steel fans, requiring less structural support for mounting, and demonstrates corrosion resistance in outdoor environments. Cast aluminum becomes stronger in cold conditions, making it more durable than other materials that may become brittle and weaker. The standard discharge position is bottom horizontal, with options available for upblast, top horizontal, or downblast configurations upon request at the time of order. All sizes are designed to operate at a maximum temperature of 150 degrees F. The applications for this equipment include vehicle fume exhaust removal in garages and fire stations, material conveying of dust and non-abrasive light particulates, cooling in UV light curing equipment, high pressure air source for air knife blow-off applications, and providing combustion air for gas burners. Additionally, it serves as a source of suction pressure for hold down tables during the printing process on corrugated packaging materials, and is ideal for electronic applications due to its non-magnetic properties that reduce interference issues.
