The kit includes housing and wheels made from cast aluminum, which is spark resistant and compliant with AMCA type B spark resistant construction standards. This corrosion-resistant material is lightweight, weighing one-third of carbon steel fans, thereby requiring less structural support when mounted. Cast aluminum retains strength in cold conditions, is non-magnetic, and has a standard discharge position that is upblast; additional configurations including top horizontal or downblast are available upon request at the time of order. All fans are rated for operation at a maximum temperature of 150 degrees F. The applications for this kit include vehicle fume exhaust removal in garages and fire stations, material conveying of dust and non-abrasive light particulates, cooling for UV light curing equipment, providing a high-pressure air source for air knife blow-off applications, serving as combustion air for gas burners, and delivering suction pressure for hold down tables during the printing process on corrugated packaging materials. It is particularly suitable for electronic applications due to its non-magnetic properties, which help reduce interference issues. Installation must be performed by a licensed electrical contractor.
