The kit includes a cast aluminum housing and wheels, which are spark resistant and meet the conditions of AMCA Type B spark resistant construction. The cast aluminum is corrosion resistant in outdoor environments and is lightweight, being one-third the weight of carbon steel fans, thus requiring less structural support when mounted. This material becomes stronger in cold conditions and is non-magnetic, making it ideal for electronic applications as it reduces interference issues. The standard discharge position is top horizontal, with options available for upblast, top horizontal, or downblast configurations upon request at the time of order placement. All sizes can operate at maximum temperatures of up to 150 degrees F. Applications for this equipment include vehicle fume exhaust removal in garages and fire stations, material conveying of dust and non-abrasive light particulates, providing cooling in UV light curing equipment, serving as a high-pressure air source for air knife blow-off applications, supplying combustion air for gas burners, and providing suction pressure for hold-down tables during the printing process on corrugated packaging materials.
