The kit includes a cast aluminum housing and wheels that are spark resistant and compliant with AMCA Type B spark resistant construction standards, making them suitable for outdoor use due to their corrosion-resistant properties. With a weight that is one-third that of carbon steel fans, the cast aluminum design requires less structural support for installation. The material exhibits increased strength in cold conditions and is non-magnetic, which is advantageous for electronic applications by minimizing interference issues. The fans come with a standard top horizontal discharge position, though upblast, top horizontal, or downblast configurations are available upon request at the time of order. They are designed to operate at a maximum temperature of 150 degrees F. The fan kit is ideal for various applications including vehicle fume exhaust removal in garages and fire stations, material conveying of dust and non-abrasive light particulates, providing cooling in UV light curing equipment, acting as a high-pressure air source for air knife blow-off applications, supplying combustion air for gas burners, and creating suction pressure for hold-down tables during printing on corrugated packaging materials. Note that installation must be carried out by a licensed electrical contractor.
