The kit includes a cast aluminum housing and wheels, which are spark resistant and conform to AMCA type B spark resistant construction standards, making them suitable for outdoor environments due to their corrosion-resistant properties. The lightweight design, being 1/3 the weight of carbon steel fans, reduces the need for structural support during installation. Additionally, cast aluminum materials exhibit increased strength in cold conditions and are non-magnetic, minimizing interference in electronic applications. The standard discharge position is bottom horizontal, with options available for upblast, top horizontal, or downblast configurations upon request at the time of order placement. All sizes are capable of operating at a maximum temperature of 150 degrees F. Applications include vehicle fume exhaust removal in garages and fire stations, material conveying of dust and non-abrasive particulates, cooling in UV light curing equipment, high-pressure air for air knife blow-off applications, combustion air source for gas burners, and suction pressure for hold down tables during printing processes on corrugated packaging materials. For proper installation, a licensed electrical contractor must be employed.
