The Kwikool model KWIB1811 is an industrial portable air conditioner designed for economical spot cooling in environments such as industrial plants, server rooms, hospitals, and offices where heat loads from electrical equipment are present. This unit has a nominal capacity of 1.5 tons or 17,700 BTU and features a high-pressure condensate pump, capable of 20 feet of head pressure, which allows for continuous operation and effective condensation removal. The air conditioner requires access to a circulating water system, such as a cooling tower or chilled water supply, and is not compatible with tap water. The design includes four casters for easy relocation—two swivel with brakes and two rigid—and it eliminates the need for vents and ducting.
