The JLIndustries® Diamond Series aluminum roof hatch measures 36"W x 30"L and features R6 Polyiso insulation in the curb and cover to help reduce energy costs. The curb and cover are constructed from 11 gauge weather-resistant, mill finish aluminum, accompanied by an 18 gauge cover liner and a continuous EPDM gasket. It includes counterbalanced springs and a locking hold-open arm that enables single-handed operation of the cover, allowing the operator to maintain three points of contact with the ladder. The indented Diamond Grip™ design secures the roofing membrane and backer rod for easier installation. Additionally, all hardware is zinc-plated, including inside and outside handles as well as padlock hasps. The hatch has been tested to withstand 50 PSF wind uplift.
