The R6 Polyiso insulation in curb and cover is designed to help reduce energy costs, featuring construction from 14 gauge galvanized steel with a weather-resistant white textured powder coat finish and a 22 gauge cover liner. It includes a continuous EPDM gasket for enhanced sealing. The curb and cover are equipped with counterbalanced springs and a locking hold-open arm that allows for single-handed operation, enabling the operator to maintain three points of contact with the ladder. The indented Diamond Grip™ design facilitates the secure attachment of the roofing membrane and backer rod for easier installation. Additionally, all hardware is zinc-plated, including inside and outside handles as well as padlock hasps. The assembly has been tested to withstand 50 PSF wind uplift, ensuring durability and compliance with performance standards.
