The ANS series of products from Edwards are high-performance audio notification systems designed to provide voice evacuation capability that meets the emergency voice alarm requirements of NFPA 72 for UL listed fire alarm applications. The kits include ANS panels available in 25, 50, or 70 watt models and consist of an amplifier, tone generator, digital message repeater (DMR), and supervisory interface. These self-contained systems feature robust field-configurable options and are complemented by a wide range of accessory equipment, such as expander panels, modules, zone switchers, and remote microphones, which enhance application flexibility and performance for both new and retrofit installations. ANS systems are compatible with Edwards QuickStart and Fireshield fire alarm control panels and come with a clean dead-front construction, built-in alarm and alert signals, a four-minute message capacity, 120 VAC power supply, and battery charger. They support paging microphone overrides for messages and tones, offer high reliability with low maintenance, and include 24-hour backup with two 12 V, 7 AH batteries. All systems are fully supervised and UL listed, ensuring easy installation, operation, and configuration, while also being compatible with Edwards signaling's Genesis line of field-configurable speakers and speaker-strobes for a clean appearance in voice audio applications.
