The 270 series fire alarm pull station features a robust die cast metal construction and includes (2) 6" wire leads with a break glass type, single action mechanism. It is designed for contact ratings of 3.0 amps at 30V AC and 60V DC, making it suitable for fire alarm installations in schools, hospitals, factories, and industrial locations. This series is available in both open and closed circuit designs and incorporates a tamper-proof reset function for enhanced security. The pull station's die cast body is painted red with painted silver stripes for visibility. For replacement glass rods, catalog No. 270-GLR (pkg. of 20) can be ordered. The unit mounts on a standard 4" (72mm) square box with a single gang plaster cover and can be surface mounted using the P-027193 cast back box or the P-039250 steel back box. For weatherproof mounting requirements, catalog No. STI-3150 should be ordered.
