It is suitable for gas atmospheric appliances where draft hoods cannot be installed, enhancing combustion stability and addressing venting issues. The MGI delivers precise control of drafts at higher levels than standard draft diverters, which is often necessary for gas applications. Its double-acting mechanism allows it to open and relieve positive vent system pressures as low as 0.01 inches of water column, with draft adjustments made simple and accurate through the use of weights ranging from 0.01 to 0.1 inches of water column.
