The relay and control reversing drum controls feature forward-off-reverse positions with 6 stationary, momentary contacts and are designed with an attractive grey powder-coated finish. It includes a one-piece metal frame made of heavy gauge pressed steel, also finished in grey, while the top covers are constructed from cold-rolled steel and lined with Nomex for enhanced durability. Wiring diagrams are provided for easy installation, and the end covers are fabricated from steel, designed with a flange to offer maximum protection against dust and moisture. The rotor contacts are made from hard rolled copper, securely attached to a steel rod covered by Bakelite tubing for optimal insulation, and all finger contacts utilize cold forged copper. Additionally, arc shields and finger boards are made from laminated Bakelite, and the design incorporates spring, roller, and cam action to prevent arcing and burning of contacts. The construction is corrosion protected, operated by hand, and most parts are readily available for easy replacement. This product is proudly made in the USA.
