The relay and control reversing drum controls feature forward-off-reverse positions with six stationary, maintained contacts, housed in an attractive grey power-coated finish. The unit is constructed from a one-piece metal frame made of heavy gauge pressed steel, with top covers formed from cold-rolled steel lined with Nomex for durability. Wiring diagrams are included for easy installation. The end covers are fabricated from steel and designed with a flange for maximum protection against dust and moisture. Rotor contacts are made of hard rolled copper, securely attached to a steel rod that is covered by Bakelite tubing for optimal insulation, while all finger contacts are made of cold forged copper. The design includes laminated Bakelite arc shields and finger boards, and incorporates spring, roller, and cam action to prevent arcing and burning of contacts. The construction is corrosion protected, operated by hand, and most parts are available and easily replaceable. This product is made in the USA.
