The relay and control reversing drum controls feature forward-off-reverse positions with 6 stationary, maintained contacts. Constructed with an attractive grey powder-coated finish, the unit includes a one-piece metal frame made of heavy gauge pressed steel. The top covers are formed from cold-rolled steel and are lined with Nomex, while the end covers are fabricated from steel and shaped with a flange to provide maximum protection against dust and moisture. Rotor contacts are constructed from hard-rolled copper and securely attached to a steel rod covered by Bakelite tubing for optimal insulation. All finger contacts are made of cold-forged copper, and the arc shields and finger boards are laminated Bakelite. The design incorporates spring, roller, and cam action to prevent arcing and burning of contacts, ensuring a corrosion-protected construction. The relay is operated by hand, and most parts are readily available and easily replaceable. This equipment is made in the USA and comes with warranty information.
