The relay and control reversing drum controls feature forward-off-reverse positions with six stationary maintained contacts. The kit includes a one-piece metal frame made of heavy gauge pressed steel with an attractive grey powder-coated finish. The top covers are constructed from cold-rolled steel and lined with Nomex for added durability. Additionally, wiring diagrams are provided, and the end covers are fabricated from steel, formed with a flange to ensure maximum protection against dust and moisture. Rotor contacts are made of hard rolled copper, securely attached to a steel rod covered by Bakelite tubing for optimal insulation. All finger contacts are comprised of cold forged copper, while arc shields and finger boards are laminated Bakelite. The design incorporates a spring, roller, and cam action to prevent arcing and burning of contacts. The construction is corrosion protected, operates by hand, and most parts are readily available and easily replaceable. This product is proudly made in the USA.
