The Relay and Control Reversing Drum Control features forward-off-reverse positions with six stationary, maintained contacts and comes in an attractive grey power-coated finish. It is built on a one-piece metal frame made of heavy gauge pressed steel, also finished in grey. The top covers are formed from cold-rolled steel and lined with Nomex, while the end covers are fabricated of steel with a flange design to maximize protection against dust and moisture. The rotor contacts are made of hard rolled copper, securely attached to a steel rod covered with Bakelite tubing for optimal insulation. All finger contacts are crafted from cold forged copper, and the arc shields and finger boards are made from laminated Bakelite. It incorporates spring, roller, and cam action to prevent arcing and burning of contacts, ensuring corrosion-protected construction. The unit is operated by hand, and most parts are readily available and easily replaceable. The product is made in the USA and includes wiring diagrams for ease of installation and configuration.
