The relay and control momentary reversing drum controls feature forward-off-reverse positions with six stationary, momentary contacts. Designed with an attractive grey powder-coated finish, the unit comprises a one-piece metal frame made of heavy gauge pressed steel. The top covers are formed from cold-rolled steel and lined with Nomex, while the end covers are fabricated from steel and formed with a flange to maximize protection against dust and moisture. The rotor contacts are made of hard-rolled copper, firmly attached to a steel rod covered by Bakelite tubing for optimal insulation, and all finger contacts are cold-forged copper. Arc shields and finger boards are laminated Bakelite, with a spring, roller, and cam action incorporated to prevent arcing and burning of contacts. The construction is corrosion-protected, and operation is manual, with most parts being readily available and easily replaceable. This product is proudly made in the USA.
