These durable and sleek sound curtains can achieve a noise reduction of up to 45dB, exhibiting a typical Sound Transmission Class (STC) rating of 26 within the coverage area. The panels are constructed with a viscoelastic acoustic damper that incorporates suspended mineral particles, complemented by an aluminum constraining layer. The outer material consists of 18oz vinyl, which is resistant to water, mildew, and rot. Each panel is affixed to a portable, heavy-duty yet lightweight 1-3/16" extruded aluminum frame.
