The BSC Preferred™ self-dumping steel forklift hopper is engineered for safety and economy, featuring a perfectly balanced design that rolls forward when loaded, dumps completely, and automatically returns to an upright, locked position ready for reloading. Constructed with continuous welding, this leak-proof hopper prevents dripping of wet materials, with a smooth edge around the top and pouring lip enhancing safety and strength. Extended sides prevent side-wise scattering of material, while a strong and easy-to-operate latching mechanism ensures secure operation. The included safety chain wraps around the mast of the forklift to prevent the hopper from disengaging from the forks. Available factory-installed upgrades at the time of order include legs for pallet truck access, a chain latch for dumping at extreme heights, lifting lugs for overhead crane use, and a 3-way entry base for forklift access. Custom colors can be provided with a Sherwin-Williams paint code. Note that OSHA requires contacting the manufacturer of your fork truck for written approval for the use of any fork truck attachments.
