The BSC Preferred™ self-dumping steel forklift hopper is engineered for safety and economy, featuring a design that allows for perfect balance to roll forward when loaded, dump completely, and automatically return to an upright, locked position ready for reloading. The hopper includes continuous welding to prevent dripping of wet materials, and leak-proof hoppers are available upon request. A formed smooth edge around the top and pouring lip enhances safety and strength, while extended sides prevent side-wise scattering of material. It also boasts a stacking feature for empty hoppers and a strong, easy-to-operate latching mechanism. A safety chain is included to wrap around the mast of the forklift, ensuring the hopper remains securely in place. Factory-installed upgrades at the time of order include legs for pallet truck access, a chain latch for dumping at extreme heights, lifting lugs for overhead crane use, a 3-way entry base for forklift access, and custom colors available with a provided Sherwin-Williams paint code. Note that OSHA requires contacting the manufacturer of the forklift for written approval for the use of any forklift attachments.
