The BSC Preferred™ self-dumping steel forklift hopper is engineered for safety and economy, featuring a design that allows for balanced loading, automatic dumping, and a secure return to an upright position. This hopper includes continuous welding to prevent leaking of wet materials, with leak-proof hoppers available upon request. Safety and strength are enhanced with a formed smooth edge around the top and pouring lip, along with extended sides to prevent side-wise scattering of materials. The hopper's stacking feature allows for the stacking of empty units, and it incorporates a strong, easy-to-operate latching mechanism. A safety chain is included to secure the hopper to the forklift mast, preventing it from detaching during operation. Optional factory-installed upgrades at the time of order include legs for pallet truck access, a chain latch for high dumping, lifting lugs for overhead crane use, and a 3-way entry base for forklift access. Custom colors can be requested with a Sherwin-Williams paint code. Compliance with OSHA regulations necessitates obtaining written approval from the forklift truck manufacturer for the use of any attachments.
