The BSC Preferred™ self-dumping steel forklift hopper is designed for safety and economy, featuring a perfectly balanced structure that allows it to roll forward when loaded, dump completely, and automatically return to an upright, locked position for reloading. Continuous welding prevents material leakage, while the formed smooth edge around the top and pouring lip enhances safety and strength. Extended sides minimize side-wise scattering of materials, and a stacking feature permits the stacking of empty hoppers. It is equipped with a strong, easy-to-operate latching mechanism and includes a safety chain that wraps around the forklift mast to secure the hopper. Factory-installed upgrades available with the order include legs for pallet truck access, a chain latch for dumping at extreme heights, lifting lugs for overhead crane use, and a 3-way entry base for forklift access. Custom colors can be provided with a Sherwin-Williams paint code. It is important to note that OSHA requires contacting the fork truck manufacturer for written approval regarding the use of any fork truck attachments.
