The BSC Preferred™ self-dumping steel forklift hopper is engineered for safety and economy, featuring a design that allows it to roll forward when loaded, dump completely, and automatically return to an upright locked position for reloading. The hopper includes continuous welding to prevent dripping of wet materials, with leak-proof options available upon request. It has a formed smooth edge around the top and pouring lip for added safety and strength, while extended sides prevent side-wise scattering of material. The stacking feature allows for the efficient stacking of empty hoppers, and a strong, easy-to-operate latching mechanism ensures convenience. A safety chain is provided to wrap around the forklift mast, preventing the hopper from detaching from the forks. Factory-installed upgrades available upon order include legs for pallet truck access, a chain latch for dumping at extreme heights, lifting lugs for overhead crane use, and a 3-way entry base for forklift access. Custom colors can be specified with a Sherwin-Williams paint code. Note that OSHA mandates contacting the manufacturer of the forklift for written approval before using any fork truck attachments.
