The BSC Preferred™ self-dumping steel forklift hopper is designed for safety and efficiency, featuring a balanced construction that allows it to roll forward when loaded, dump completely, and automatically return to the upright, locked position for reloading. It includes continuous welding to prevent leakage of wet materials, with leak-proof options available upon request. The hopper has a formed smooth edge around the top and pouring lip for enhanced safety and strength, while extended sides help to prevent scattering of contents. It is equipped with a robust latching mechanism that is easy to operate, and a safety chain is included to secure the hopper to the forklift mast, preventing it from detaching. Factory-installed upgrades that can be specified at the time of order include legs for pallet truck access, a chain latch for dumping at extreme heights, lifting lugs for overhead crane use, and a 3-way entry base for forklift access. Custom colors can be provided using a Sherwin-Williams paint code. Compliance with OSHA regulations necessitates obtaining written approval from the manufacturer of the forklift for any attachments used.
