The BSC Preferred™ self-dumping steel forklift hopper is engineered for safety and economy, featuring a design that allows for perfect balance to roll forward when loaded, dump completely, and automatically return to an upright, locked position for reloading. Continuous welding is utilized to prevent dripping of wet materials, and leak-proof hoppers are available upon request. The hopper includes a formed smooth edge around the top and pouring lip for enhanced safety and strength, with extended sides to prevent side-wise scattering of materials. It incorporates a strong, easy-to-operate latching mechanism and comes with a safety chain that wraps around the mast of the forklift to ensure the hopper remains secure on the forks. Factory-installed upgrades available at the time of order include legs for pallet truck access, a chain latch for dumping at extreme heights, lifting lugs for overhead crane use, and a 3-way entry base for forklift access. Custom colors can be ordered with a provided Sherwin-Williams paint code.
