Engineered for safety and economy, these hoppers are perfectly balanced to roll forward when loaded, dump completely, and automatically return to an upright, locked position ready for reloading. They feature continuous welding to help prevent dripping of wet materials, with leak-proof hoppers available upon request. The hoppers include a formed smooth edge around the top and pouring lip for safety and strength, extended sides to prevent side-wise scattering of material, and a stacking feature standard on this model that permits stacking of empty hoppers. The strong, easy-to-operate latching mechanism comes with a safety chain that wraps around the mast of the forklift to prevent the hopper from coming off the forks. Factory-installed upgrades available at the time of order include legs for pallet truck access, chain latch for dumping at extreme heights, lifting lugs for overhead crane use, a 3-way entry base allowing forklift access, and custom colors with a provided Sherwin-Williams paint code. Note that OSHA requires contacting the manufacturer of your fork truck for written approval for the use of any fork truck attachments.
