The BSC Preferred™ 2 cu. yd. self-dumping steel hopper features a 4000 lb. capacity and is engineered for safety and economy. This innovative hopper utilizes a bump release mechanism that automatically dumps on contact with the roll-off container, ensuring it is perfectly balanced to roll forward when loaded, dump completely, and automatically return to an upright, locked position for reloading. Its continuous welding prevents dripping of wet materials, and while leak-proof hoppers are available upon request, the formed smooth edge around the top and pouring lip adds safety and strength. Extended sides help prevent side-wise scattering of material, and the design includes a stacking feature for empty hoppers. The hopper is equipped with a strong, easy-to-operate latching mechanism and includes a safety chain that wraps around the mast of the forklift to prevent the hopper from detaching. Custom colors can be obtained with a provided Sherwin-Williams paint code. Note that OSHA requires contacting the manufacturer of your fork truck for written approval for the use of any fork truck attachments.
