Our heavy duty self dumping forklift hopper is engineered for safety and economy, featuring a 2 cubic yard capacity and a weight capacity of 7000 lbs in a gray color. The hopper is perfectly balanced to roll forward when loaded, dump completely, and automatically return to the upright, locked position ready for reloading. Continuous welding helps prevent dripping of wet materials, with leak-proof hoppers available upon request. It has a formed smooth edge around the top and pouring lip for safety and strength, with extended sides to prevent side-wise scattering of material. The strong, easy-to-operate latching mechanism includes a safety chain that wraps around the forklift mast to prevent the hopper from coming off the forks. Factory installed upgrades available at the time of order include legs for pallet truck access, a chain latch for dumping at extreme heights, lifting lugs for overhead crane use, a 3-way entry base allowing forklift access, and custom colors with a provided Sherwin-Williams paint code. OSHA requires contacting the manufacturer of your fork truck for written approval before using any fork truck attachments.
