The BSC Preferred™ self-dumping steel forklift hopper is designed with a focus on safety and efficiency, featuring a perfectly balanced structure that rolls forward when loaded, allowing for complete dumping and automatic return to an upright, locked position, ready for reloading. The hopper is constructed with continuous welding to minimize leakage of wet materials, with leak-proof options available upon request. Safety and strength are enhanced by a formed smooth edge around the top and pouring lip, along with extended sides that prevent side-wise scattering of materials. It includes a strong, user-friendly latching mechanism and a safety chain that secures around the forklift mast to prevent the hopper from detaching. Factory-installed upgrades can be ordered to include legs for pallet truck access, a chain latch for dumping at extreme heights, lifting lugs for overhead crane use, and a 3-way entry base for forklift access. Custom colors can be provided with a specified Sherwin-Williams paint code. Compliance with OSHA standards requires that the manufacturer of the fork truck be contacted for written approval prior to using any fork truck attachments.
