The BSC Preferred™ self-dumping steel forklift hopper is designed with safety and economy in mind, featuring a balanced design that allows it to roll forward when loaded, dump completely, and automatically return to an upright, locked position for easy reloading. The hopper includes continuous welding to prevent leaking of wet materials, with leak-proof options available upon request. It has a formed smooth edge around the top and pouring lip for enhanced safety and strength, and extended sides to reduce side-wise scattering of materials. The hopper is equipped with a strong, easy-to-operate latching mechanism, and includes a safety chain that wraps around the forklift mast to secure the hopper during use. Factory-installed upgrades available upon order include legs for pallet truck access, a chain latch for dumping at extreme heights, lifting lugs for overhead crane use, and a 3-way entry base for forklift access. Custom colors can be provided based on a Sherwin-Williams paint code. Note that OSHA requires users to contact the forklift manufacturer for written approval regarding the use of any forklift attachments.
