Engineered for safety and economy, these hoppers are perfectly balanced to roll forward when loaded, dump completely, and automatically return to the upright, locked position ready for reloading. They feature continuous welding to help prevent dripping of wet materials, with leak-proof hoppers available upon request. The hopper has a formed smooth edge around the top and pouring lip for safety and strength, while extended sides prevent side-wise scattering of material. It includes a strong, easy-to-operate latching mechanism and a safety chain that wraps around the forklift mast to prevent the hopper from coming off the forks. Factory-installed upgrades available at the time of order include legs for pallet truck access, a chain latch for dumping at extreme heights, lifting lugs for overhead crane use, and a 3-way entry base for forklift access. Custom colors can be applied using a provided Sherwin-Williams paint code. OSHA requires contacting the manufacturer of the forklift for written approval prior to using any fork truck attachments.
