The BSC Preferred™ self-dumping steel forklift hopper is designed with safety and economy in mind, featuring a balanced design that allows it to roll forward when loaded, and dump completely before returning to an upright, locked position for reloading. The hopper includes continuous welding to prevent dripping of wet materials, with leak-proof options available upon request. It has a formed smooth edge around the top and pouring lip for enhanced safety and strength, while extended sides minimize side-wise scattering of materials. The hopper is equipped with a strong, easy-to-operate latching mechanism and includes a safety chain that wraps around the mast of the forklift to prevent accidental dislodging. Optional factory-installed upgrades available at the time of order consist of legs for pallet truck access, a chain latch for dumping at extreme heights, lifting lugs for overhead crane use, and a 3-way entry base for forklift access. Custom colors can be specified with a Sherwin-Williams paint code. Note: OSHA regulations require obtaining written approval from the forklift truck manufacturer before using any attachments.
