The Weatherproof Flammable Safety Cabinet has a 30-gallon capacity and features self-closing doors, providing added protection against the elements for outdoor use. Constructed from double-walled, all-welded 18-gauge galvannealed steel, it is finished with a UV, weather, and scratch-resistant urethane coating. The outdoor safety cabinet is designed with a sloped roof that has a 2-3/4" overhang, while interior and exterior astragals prevent rain penetration. It includes a 1-1/2" insulating air space, 3-point self-latching doors with corrosion-resistant stainless steel recessed paddle handles, and full-length piano hinges for enhanced security. The cabinet also features galvanized steel shelving, two 2" flash arrestor vents, a large warning label, and a 2" leak-proof door sill. For ease of transport and installation, built-in heavy gauge fork pockets provide 2-way forklift access and include pre-drilled 7 gauge welded steel base plates for floor anchoring. Additionally, the self-closing mechanism features fusible links that melt at 165° to automatically close and latch the doors in case of fire. This safety cabinet meets EPA 40, CFR 264 & 265 and NFPA Code 30 standards, and complies with OSHA 1910 requirements.
