The Weatherproof Flammable Safety Cabinet boasts a 45-gallon capacity and features self-closing doors designed for outdoor use, providing added protection against the elements. Constructed from double-walled, all-welded 18-gauge galvannealed steel, the cabinet is finished with a UV, weather, and scratch-resistant urethane coating. It includes a sloped roof with a 2-3/4" overhang and interior and exterior astragals to prevent rain penetration, as well as a 1-1/2" insulating air space. The 3-point self-latching doors are equipped with corrosion-resistant stainless steel recessed paddle handles for a catch-free surface, secured by full-length piano hinges for enhanced security. The cabinet features galvanized steel shelving, two 2" flash arrestor vents, a large warning label, and a 2"D leak-proof door sill. Additionally, built-in heavy gauge fork pockets allow for 2-way forklift access, with pre-drilled 7-gauge welded steel base plates for floor anchoring. The self-closing mechanism incorporates fusible links that melt at 165° to automatically close and latch the doors in case of fire. This cabinet meets EPA 40 CFR 264 & 265 and NFPA Code 30 standards while complying with OSHA 1910 requirements.
