Paint storage cabinets for 1-gallon paint cans are offered in capacities ranging from 20 to 120 gallons, finished with a two-part urethane paint that encompasses an aliphatic polyurethane finish on both the interior and exterior. This durable polyurethane coating is engineered to withstand various challenges, including salt spray and chemical exposure, fading from UV light, and provides superior durability against chipping and peeling, crucial for environments with frequent cabinet access. Featuring galvanized steel shelving, a double wall construction with a 1" air space, a flush-mounted locking handle, and a static grounding bolt, these cabinets meet current OSHA compliance. The robust design includes reinforced 18-gauge all-welded construction, 3-point self-latching (non-sparking) doors, a continuous piano hinge, and a large warning label stating "Flammable - Keep fire away." Additionally, the cabinets are equipped with adjustable zinc-plated leveling legs, two 2" vents with flash arrestors, and a leak-proof sill that is 2" deep. While the cabinet is designed with manual closing doors, it is essential to check local ordinances, as some states and municipalities may mandate self-closing doors for flammable safety cabinets. All cabinets are FM approved and adhere to the standards set by NFPA.
