The kit is equipped with an energy-efficient direct spark ignition system and a gas shut-off safety control, allowing for angled mounting up to 30°. A 120V supply is required for operation, and the product is CSA certified. It comes with a limited warranty of 1 year. Installation and service must be performed by a licensed contractor in compliance with local codes; in the absence of local codes, installation must adhere to the National Fuel Gas Code ANSI Z223.1 (also known as NFPA 54) or CGA B149 installation codes. Additionally, it requires 4 CFM per 1000 BTU/hr of mechanical ventilation based on the total installed capacity.
