SC Preferred® by SC Preferred reception stations are designed for strength, functionality, and convenience, making them ideal for reception rooms and security areas. The reception counters and work surfaces are constructed with 1" thick scratch-resistant laminate, and the 12" deep reception counter provides a convenient writing surface for guests and visitors while maintaining personnel privacy. Desktops include 2-3/16" diameter cable management grommet openings. The desk framing is made of black finished steel for lasting strength. Reception station panels are made of SC Preferred® partitions that reduce noise and create privacy; these panels are flame retardant to meet the California 117 flammability standard. The 1-3/4" thick fabric-upholstered panels feature an interior engineered wood (MDF) frame and a honeycomb core covered with a heavy tackable liner for structural strength and support. Panel trim is finished with self-extinguishing extruded polymer that provides optimum safety and rigidity. The kit includes adjustable leveling feet suitable for uneven surfaces. The U-shaped reception station includes a 72" wide desk, and desks accept installation of optional storage options sold separately, such as pedestal files, keyboard drawers, and mouse trays. The unit offers easy assembly and comes with a 1-year limited warranty.
