SC Preferred® by SC Preferred reception stations are designed for strength, functionality, and convenience, making them ideal for reception rooms and security areas. The reception counters and work surfaces are constructed with 1" thick scratch-resistant laminate, featuring a 12"D reception counter that provides a convenient writing surface for guests and visitors while maintaining personnel privacy. Desktops include 2-3/16" diameter cable management grommet openings. The desk framing is made of black finished steel for durable strength. Reception station panels consist of SC Preferred® partitions that reduce noise and create privacy; these panels are flame retardant and meet the California 117 flammability standard. The 1-3/4" thick fabric upholstered panels feature an interior engineered wood (MDF) frame and honeycomb core, covered with a heavy tackable liner for structural strength and support. Panel trim is finished with a self-extinguishing extruded polymer providing optimum safety and rigidity. The station includes adjustable leveling feet suitable for uneven surfaces. The U-shaped reception station features a 48"W and a 60"W desk. Desks accept installation of optional storage options (sold separately), including a pedestal file, keyboard drawer, and mouse tray. The unit offers easy assembly and comes with a 1-year limited warranty.
