SC Preferred® by SC Preferred reception stations are designed for strength, functionality, and convenience, making them suitable for reception rooms and security areas. The reception counters and work surfaces are constructed with 1" thick scratch-resistant laminate, featuring a 12" deep reception counter that provides a convenient writing surface for guests while maintaining personnel privacy. Desktops include one or more 2-3/16" diameter cable management grommet openings. The desk framing is made of black finished steel for durability. Reception station panels consist of SC Preferred® partitions that help reduce noise and create privacy; these panels are flame retardant to meet the California 117 flammability standard. The 1-3/4" thick fabric upholstered panels have an interior engineered wood (MDF) frame with a honeycomb core covered by a heavy tackable liner for structural strength and support, with panel trim finished in self-extinguishing extruded polymer for safety and rigidity. The station includes adjustable leveling feet suitable for uneven surfaces. The L-shaped reception station includes a 36" corner desk and two 36"W x 24"D returns. Desks are designed to accept optional storage options such as pedestal files, keyboard drawers, and mouse trays, which are sold separately. The unit offers easy assembly and comes with a one-year limited warranty.
