SC Preferred® by SC Preferred reception stations are designed for strength, functionality, and convenience, making them suitable for reception rooms and security areas. The reception counters and work surfaces are constructed with 1" thick scratch-resistant laminate, while the 12"D reception counter offers a convenient writing surface for guests and visitors, maintaining personnel privacy. Desktops feature 2-3/16" diameter cable management grommet openings. The desk framing is made of black finished steel for durability. Reception station panels are composed of SC Preferred® partitions that reduce noise and provide privacy, meeting the California 117 flammability standard for flame retardancy. These 1-3/4" thick fabric-upholstered panels have an interior engineered wood (MDF) frame and honeycomb core covered with a heavy tackable liner for structural strength and support, with panel trim finished using self-extinguishing extruded polymer for safety and rigidity. The station includes adjustable leveling feet for use on uneven surfaces. The L-shaped reception station consists of a 36" corner desk and two 36"W x 24"D returns. Desks accommodate optional storage options such as pedestal file, keyboard drawer, and mouse tray (sold separately). The unit is easy to assemble and comes with a 1-year limited warranty.
