SC Preferred® by SC Preferred reception stations are designed for strength, functionality, and convenience, making them ideal for reception rooms and security areas. The reception counters and work surfaces are constructed with 1" thick scratch-resistant laminate, and the 12"D reception counter provides a convenient writing surface for guests and visitors while maintaining personnel privacy. Desktops include 2-3/16" diameter cable management grommet openings. The desk framing is made of black finished steel, ensuring lasting strength. Reception station panels consist of SC Preferred® partitions that reduce noise and create privacy, with flame retardant properties meeting the California 117 flammability standard. These 1-3/4" thick fabric upholstered panels feature an interior engineered wood (MDF) frame and honeycomb core covered with a heavy tackable liner for structural strength and support. Panel trim is finished with self-extinguishing extruded polymer for optimum safety and rigidity. The stations include adjustable leveling feet suitable for uneven surfaces. The U-shaped reception station includes a 48"W and a 60"W desk, and the desks accept installation of optional storage options such as pedestal file, keyboard drawer, and mouse tray (sold separately). The package offers easy assembly and comes with a 1-year limited warranty.
