The BSC Preferred pallet rack upright frame is designed to support pallet rack beams with a total rated capacity of 27,600 lb, constructed from durable 14-gauge steel and featuring a long-lasting baked-on enamel finish, with a teardrop connection style. When selecting an upright beam, it is crucial to assess the total weight of all pallets for each pair of upright frames, taking into account the height of all pallet loads and beam height, while allowing a clearance of 4" to 8" between the top of the load and the bottom of the beam above. The top beam height should be a minimum of 6" less than the maximum height of your forklift reach, and the frame depth is determined by the length of the pallet, which should overhang the frame by 3" at both the front and back. This frame is interchangeable with brands such as Interlake, Wireway/Husky, Unarco, Steel King, USP, Speed Rack, and Invincible. The rated capacity of 27,600 lb is based on a 36" beam shelf spacing and is higher than that of other pallet racking systems on the market. If seismic conditions are applicable, it is mandatory to confirm capacity ratings with a seismic engineer.
