The kit includes 13-gauge steel uprights with a total rated capacity of 32,900 lb, featuring a teardrop connection style for easy beam adjustment due to its punched design on 2" centers. The welded upright frame is finished with a long-lasting baked-on enamel, ensuring durability. To select an upright beam, users must consider the total weight of all pallets for each pair of upright frames, factoring in the height of all pallet loads and beam height, while allowing for a 4" to 8" clearance between the top of the load and the bottom of the beam above. The top beam should be a minimum of 6" less than the maximum height of the forklift reach, and frame depth is determined by the length of the pallet, which should overhang the frame by 3" both front and back. The system is interchangeable with several other brands including Interlake, Wireway/Husky, Unarco, Steel King, USP, Speed Rack, and Invincible. The rated capacity of 32,900 lb is based on a 36" beam shelf spacing.
