The kit includes 14-gauge steel uprights and offers a total rated capacity of 27,600 lb, featuring a teardrop connection style with a Global teardrop pallet rack welded upright frame. The welded upright frames are constructed with 14-gauge steel and are punched on 2" centers for enhanced beam adjustment. The durable baked-on enamel finish ensures long-lasting use. To appropriately select an upright beam, users must consider the total weight of all pallets for each pair of upright frames and account for the height of all pallet loads, beam height, allowing 4" to 8" clearance between the top of the load and the bottom of the beam above. The top beam should be at least 6" less than the maximum height of the forklift reach. Frame depth is determined by the length of the pallet, requiring a 3" overhang of the pallet at the front and back of the frame. This system is interchangeable with Interlake, Wireway/Husky, Unarco, Steel King, USP, Speed Rack, and Invincible designs. The 27,600 lb capacity is based on 36" beam shelf spacing. It is important to note that if seismic conditions are applicable, verification of capacities must be confirmed with a seismic engineer, as Global is not responsible for engineering, installation, or application of this material, and it is the customer's responsibility to check contents and quantities.
