The kit includes sturdy 14-gauge steel uprights, designed with a teardrop connection style, forming a Global tear drop pallet rack welded upright frame. The welded upright frames are constructed from 14-gauge steel and are punched on 2" centers for easy beam adjustment. The total rated capacity of the rack is 27,600 lb, which is higher than that of competing pallet racking systems, with this capacity based on a 36" beam shelf spacing. For optimal performance, the total weight of all pallets for each pair of upright frames should be determined, and consideration must be given to the height of all pallet loads and beam height, while allowing for a 4" to 8" clearance between the top of the load and the bottom of the beam above. The top beam should be at least 6" less than the maximum reach height of your forklift. Frame depth should be determined by the pallet length, ensuring that the pallet overhangs the frame by 3" at both the front and back. The uprights are interchangeable with those from Interlake, Wireway/Husky, Unarco, Steel King, USP, Speed Rack, and Invincible.
