The kit includes 13-gauge steel uprights designed with a total rated capacity of 32,900 lb. It features a teardrop connection style Global teardrop pallet rack with welded upright frames, which are constructed from 13 gauge steel and punched on 2" centers to facilitate easy beam adjustment. The uprights have a long-lasting baked-on enamel finish. To select an upright beam, it's essential to determine the total weight of all pallets for each pair of upright frames and consider the height of all pallet loads along with beam height, allowing for a clearance of 4" to 8" between the top of the load and the bottom of the beam above. The top beam must be a minimum of 6" less than the maximum height of the forklift reach, and the frame depth is dictated by the length of the pallet, ensuring a 3" overhang of the pallet from the frame both front and back. This system is interchangeable with brands such as Interlake, Wireway/Husky, Unarco, Steel King, USP, Speed Rack, and Invincible. The rated capacity is based on a 36" beam shelf spacing. If seismic conditions apply, verification of capacities must be confirmed with a seismic engineer, and Global is not responsible for engineering, installation, or application of this material, including securing permits. It is the customer's responsibility to verify contents and quantities, as the provided capacity ratings are for reference only and applicable to static (non-seismic) conditions.
