The BSC preferred pallet rack upright frame is constructed from 13-gauge steel and has a total rated capacity of 32,900 lb, featuring a teardrop connection style for easy assembly and stability. To properly select an upright beam, users must first determine the total weight of all pallets for each pair of upright frames and consider the combined height of all pallet loads and beam height, ensuring to allow for 4" to 8" of clearance between the top of the load and the bottom of the beam above. The top beam height should be at least 6" less than the maximum reach of the forklift. Frame depth must correspond with the pallet length, with an overhang of 3" in both front and back. This rack system is interchangeable with brands such as Interlake, Wireway/Husky, Unarco, Steel King, USP, Speed Rack, and Invincible. The product comes with a 1-year limited warranty and has a static capacity rating based on 36" beam shelf spacing. It should be noted that in cases of seismic conditions, capacity verification must be performed by a seismic engineer, and Global assumes no responsibility for engineering, installation, or application of this material, including obtaining the necessary permits.
