The BSC Preferred pallet rack upright frame is designed to provide robust support for pallet rack beams, constructed from 14-gauge steel with a durable baked-on enamel finish. This welded upright frame has a total rated capacity of 27,600 lb, which is notably higher than other options available in the market, with the capacity rating based on a 36" beam shelf spacing. The teardrop connection style allows for versatility in selection, accommodating various beam choices, while ensuring safety by recommending a clearance of 4" to 8" between the top of the load and the bottom of the beam above. Additionally, the top beam should be positioned a minimum of 6" below the maximum height of the forklift reach. Frame depth should correspond to the pallet length, ensuring a 3" overhang in both the front and back. This system is interchangeable with brands such as Interlake, Wireway/Husky, Unarco, Steel King, USP, Speed Rack, and Invincible. It is important to note that if seismic conditions apply, capacity verification must be conducted by a seismic engineer.
